Psalm 106:1
We are all so excited to go home. As I was packing I discovered Caleb in our largest suitcase.
He is all ready to go!
Unfortunately, due to a huge error by our travel agent, we could not fly on our original flight in the morning and spent the entire day waiting at the airport in Kiev until we ended up purchasing new tickets. Please pray for wisdom & Godly character as we deal with this issue with our travel agency. We took the last flight out that day to Amsterdam. This is where we spent the night in the Amsterdam airport from 7:30 pm until 10:00 am the next morning. Alena & Caleb do not have Visas to stay in Amsterdam so we could not leave the airport and the airport hotel was booked. It certainly looks like it should be comfortable doesn't it? Well, looks can be deceiving. Thankfully all the kids slept a good 8 hours but mom & dad just rested all night.
We're home at last!
PRAISE THE LORD!
Alena loves her new room that she shares with Katelyn.
Playing games & having fun on a rainy day.
Caleb enjoys playing with his dog and brother Nicholas.
Caleb loves the swingset.
We can jump for hours!
We are so happy to see that you made it home-finally!!!! What a stressful time it must have been at the airport. Glad you were not delayed any longer than you were. Loved the pictures of the kids at home! We will pray for all of you as you settle in together. Hope you are able to get some needed rest! We love you and are so happy for you!
ReplyDeleteWelcome Home, Jeff and Rebecca and Children! You ran the good race of adoption in Ukraine. May God richly bless you and restore all to you seven-fold that which is considered lost...your time with family, your relationships, your finances, your health, your work, your energy, your rest, your peace. May you also be blessed in the much grace and mercy in the transition and new chapter of family life.
